An "Outside Reading" book must be selected from the Reading Counts book list. Students must bring the book to class with them this Monday, Feb. 1st for 20 homework points.  They should have the book with them each day in class.  Students must read 500 pages and pass the Reading Counts test on their book(s) by Monday. May 24th.  Students will earn one homework point for each page read (as long as they pass the corresponding RC test).  Do not procrastinate! You have plenty of time to complete the required reading well in advance of the deadline.   Currently, you can check to see if your book is on the expanded RC list by going to the Mesa Verda Middle School website, click on library, and then click on the link to Scholastic at the bottom of the page.  Then just type in your book title.  You can also just click on the link on the lower right hand corner of this website.

STUDENTS, BE SURE TO CHECK THAT WE HAVE THE TEST ON THE SCHOLASTIC PROGRAM ON MY DESKTOP.  THIS IS THE ONLY RELIABLE FINAL CHECK!!!
